Barrel Racer

“I have seen a lot of successful barrel racers use FLAIR® Strips. After conducting some of my own research, I decided to try them out on my mare that has had bleeding problems in the past. I ordered a pack of Strips about a year ago and have not run a horse without one since!”

Rebecca started showing horses in 4-H and AQHA at a very young age. It was at the age of 12, when she found that rodeoing fulltime, with a focus in barrel racing, was what she wanted to pursue for the future. She participated in Nevada State High School Rodeo Association qualifying for Nationals her sophomore year. After high school and college, receiving a degree in Secondary Education Agriculture Science, she then went on to teach agriculture mechanics and agriculture science for 6 years before becoming the livestock coordinator for Nevada 4-H. Rebecca also got certified to be an Equine Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse Therapist through Animal Therapy Systems, which then led her to start Veracity Equine Therapy in the spring of 2022. Her main goal for barrel racing in 2023 is to enter an American Qualifier and make it to the semifinal round in March of 2023. Along with attending barrel racing jackpots across the west coast, she would also like to get back into team roping and breakaway roping.
