Ryley Miller

Combined Driver

“My mom is an FEI Driving judge and when she is judging events, she noticed the horses that wore FLAIR® Strips seemed more competitive and cooled out better, so we researched them. We started using them and have noticed a major difference in the way they perform and the way they cool out due to FLAIR Strips.”

Ryley has been involved with horses her whole life, driving and riding from a young age. She grew up in a very horse-oriented family with her grandfather being a farrier, her mom an FEI driving judge, and her aunt being long listed for the USA Driving team in the early 2000s. Ryley loves the sport of driving and is extremely proud of what she’s accomplished in the last two years of being competitive. In 2021 she was Pair Horse and Junior Champion at the Lexington Carriage Classic and did her first CDE finishing second at Garden State. In 2022, she competed at Live Oak International in the youth category to finish 4th with a borrowed horse owned by Steve Wilson, 8th in her first Preliminary at Southern Pines CDE, 3rd at the Elk Creek CDE, then went on to the Lexington Carriage Classic and defended Pair Horse Champion and Junior Champion, as well as being called back for the top 3 in the derby. Her short term goal for 2023 is to have moved up to intermediate, with a long term goal to aim for the FEI Youth Combined Driving Championships in Europe.
